The 52-year-old Training Day alum shared professional photos of herself sitting in the car on Instagram on Friday (August 28).
What Does Eva Mendes’ “de Gosling” Tattoo Mean?
In one photo, she showed off a wrist tattoo that is believed to be inspired by her longtime love, Ryan Gosling, which reads: “de Gosling.”
“It’s the only one I have, the only one I’ve ever wanted,” she wrote in the comments in response to a fan, who wrote: “The tattoo, I can’t!”
In Hispanic culture, “de” (“of”) is often used by married women to add their husband’s name – so she would be Eva Mendes de Gosling.

Eva and Ryan have never actually said if they’ve ever officially gotten married, despite rumors over the years that they had the ceremony. The two have been together since 2011, and share daughters Amada Lee, 10, and Esmeralda Amada, 11.
