There’s no bad blood in Tristan Thompson’s tribe.
The NBA player—who shares daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, with ex Khloe Kardashian, as well as son Prince, 9, with Jordan Craig and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols—recently revealed his relationship with the mothers of his kids couldn’t be better.
In fact, the dynamic is so “great” that Tristan said even the three women get along.
“We're all friends,” the 35-year-old explained on the March 31 episode of The Katie Miller Podcast. “At the end of the day, we’re all family. We all have each other's contact info. We're all in a great place, because I think that's the number one thing.”
“No matter how you chop it up and no matter how you want to put it together, we’re all tied together,” he added. “We're all family, and our kids are all siblings, and they're going to be in each other’s life for a long time.”
And despite his multiple cheating scandals involving the women, Tristan emphasized that they do not harbor resentment toward each other.
“All of us are mature enough to understand what's the most important thing,” he said, “and it's our little tribe.”
Tristan started dating Jordan in 2014, but they split two years later after he cheated on her with Khloe. At the time, Jordan, 34, was pregnant with Prince and ultimately welcomed their son in December 2016.
Tristan then went on to date Khloe, 41, on and off for six years. However, their relationship famously weathered multiple infidelities.
Days before True was born in April 2018, photos and videos emerged of the pro athlete cheating on Khloe with other women. Though the Good American founder gave him a second chance, they broke up again in February 2019 amid claims that Tristan cheated with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.
After rekindling their romance—and even secretly getting engaged—Khloe and Tristan split for a final time after she discovered he had fathered Theo with Maralee, 33, in December 2021, while they were preparing to welcome Tatum via surrogate.
But these days, Tristan has nothing but respect for the mother of his kids and even finds co-parenting with them to be a breeze.
“Co-parenting is great,” he told Katie Miller on her podcast. “The mother of my children, they've been amazing. I think the beauty is that all of us are mature enough to understand that we all want to be great as parents. And we're all on the same line of communication.”
Noting that they all “want the best for our children,” Tristan explained, “It's very easy to co-parent when you have the same beliefs that you want best for the kids. And we're all mature enough to understand that life is life, right? As long as you have a strong support system and our tribe is tight and we have each other's back, that's the most beautiful thing.”
Calling Khloe, Maralee and Jordan “phenomenal” women, the former Cleveland Cavaliers player added, “They're great. They make my life easy.”

In December 2016, Tristan welcomed his first child. His ex, Jordan Craig, gave birth to a son, Prince Oliver Thompson.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan's first child was born in April 2018 in Cleveland, when he was a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Khloe gave birth on the heels of an alleged cheating scandal surrounding the NBA star and a year and a half after the two went public with their relationship.
Over the next few years, Khloe and Tristan would weather more ups and downs in their relationship as they continued to co-parent True.
In December 2021, it was brought to light that Maralee Nichols had sued Tristan the previous June for pregnancy and birth expenses following a sexual encounter on his 30th birthday the previous March. She stated in her filing that she is pregnant with a baby boy and that Tristan is the father.
In his own filing, Tristan confirmed the two were intimate around the time in question and requested a paternity test. Maralee gave birth to the child, Theo, in December, and said in a statement to E! News that she had met the NBA star in 2020 and that he had told her "he was single and co-parenting."
In January 2022, Tristan announced on Instagram that "paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols," and added, "Khloe, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you."
In his statement, Tristan also said he looked forward to "amicably raising" his son with Maralee. In February 2022, her rep told E! News that the NBA star has not made any attempt" to meet the child. Tristan has not commented.
In December 2022, multiple outlets reported that the basketball player reached an agreement with Maralee, under which he will pay $9,500 per month in child support while she will have sole custody of Theo.
In August 2022, Tristan and Khloe Kardashian welcomed their second child together, a son.
A source close to the Good American founder told E! News that "the baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December [2021]."
In May 2023, it was revealed that the exes' son is named Tatum Thompson.
Tristan has often posted pics of his eldest kids on Instagram, although he has never shared a photo of Theo. The NBA star posted his first photo of both Prince and True in June 2018.

I thank God for the beautiful and loving woman you are to everyone, especially our daughter True. You deserve the world Koko! True and I love you mama. Happy Birthday @khloekardashian."
