Cardi B is back in the booth and looking to heat up the summertime. While it’s already been an extremely busy year for the Hustlers star, Cardi has yet to release a single in 2026, but that could be changing very soon.

The Bronx rapper previewed an unreleased anthem in a Instagram video post on Monday (July 27), which finds Cardi sporting a Dominican Republic-flag themed bikini while patrolling the beach, seductively dancing on a tree and rapping along to her next release. Cardi delivers a catchy chorus, flexes on her haters and then even slams the president. 

“A n—a can’t trap me, I won’t keep it/ B—es really hate me, so be it/ Bathroom floors and these hoes both heated/ It goes threee, two, to the one in this b—h/ I’ll give a hoe exactly what she want in this b—h,” she raps. “Black trucks at the club look like Trump in this b—h, f–k him/ A hoe never played with me once in this b—h.”

Billboard has reached out to the White House for comment.

Fans were sent into a frenzy by the first aforementioned bar, as some interpreted it to be a shot at her ex Stefon Diggs, who is the father of her fourth and youngest child. As usual, Cardi hopped on IG Live shortly after Monday’s preview to clear up the confusion. 

“I know exactly how I felt when I said that s–t. I could have a baby with a n—a, but that’s the issue,” she said. “You could have a baby with a n—a, and sometimes n—-as think that because you have a baby with them or you gonna keep a baby or you have a baby that you won’t move the f–k on or you’ll stay there taking s–t. Nah, b—h, I’ll take my baby and get the f–k on. That’s for sure. Like nah, b—h, a baby ain’t trapping me b—h.”

Cardi also explained that she didn’t know if she wanted to release the song, but the positive reception to the preview has her thinking about shooting a music video this weekend. “I’m gonna have to take a flight and shoot a video this weekend,” she said in her Live. “I’m glad I’m having fun with music and y’all just loving it and enjoying it.”

Perhaps the upcoming single could launch the 33-year-old into her next era, which would put a bow on Am I the Drama? after Cardi’s sophomore LP topped the Billboard 200 in September. The rapper kicked off the year embarking on her first headlining arena tour in February and topped Billboard’s Hottest Female Rappers list for the first half of 2026.
