EXCLUSIVE: Rakuten Viki‘s annual K-Drama Day is coming back for a fourth time.
The stunt, which celebrates global fandom of Korean entertainment, will kick off on September 25 and tun to October 1 – making it more like a K-drama week. Free content, prizes, talent exclusive and immersive content will feature.
The event will also see Viki viewers voting for the K-drama they’d like to adorn digital billboards across cities in the U.S. and select markets elsewhere. The winner will be revealed on September 25.
Meanwhile, ten high-performing Viki K-dramas will be made free during the K-Drama Day celebration. These are Spirit Fingers, To My Beloved Thief, Positively Yours, IDOL I, Last Summer, Love Me, Ms. Incognito, A Bona Fide Killer, First Lady and The Scarecrow.
Furthermore, there will be video compilation shoutouts from the likes of Park Ji Hoon, Lee Hye Ri, Hwang In Youp, Choi Soo Young, Kang Tae Oh, Kim Se Jeong, and Kong Hyo Jin. Bae In Hyuk, star of Our Universe, will appear in an exclusive interview.
There will be snack truck video with the Dive into You cast, who include Kim Ji Yeon, Park Seo Ham, Jang Se Hyuk, and Moon Seung You, along with an interview with director So Jaehyun. A Bona Fide Killer director. Yoon Jong Ho, director of A Bona Fide Killer has also recorded an interview.
