The supergroup Drink The Sea have announced details of a new album and a US, UK and European tour for later this year.
The band is made up of former R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, Barrett Martin of Screaming Trees and Alain Johannes of Eleven and Queens Of The Stone Age, as well as Duke Garwood and Lisette Garcia.
They will release their third studio album âDrink The Sea IIIâ on October 2 via Martinâs Sunyata Records and Sony Orchard Digital Music, and they will share the recordâs lead single on July 31.
The album was produced by Martin and Johannes and was recorded while the band were on the road between October 2025 and April 2026, making use of studios in Olympia, Washington as well as Chile and Brazil.

Drink The Sea will play a lengthy tour that kicks off with a US leg in Vashon Island, Washington on August 30. The UK dates begin in Cardiff on September 30 and also include shows in Manchester, London and Brighton, before a European tour that wraps up in Ravenna, Italy on October 23.

The band came together at the end of 2024 and released their first two studio LPs, âDrink The Sea Iâ and âDrink The Sea IIâ, last year.
