There was a mishap during the Pussycat Dolls‘ concert in Warsaw, Poland and a rep for the band is explaining what happened.

The “Don’t Cha” girl group – currently made up of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt – kicked off their PCD Forever Tour last week and they are performing all over Europe. The tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut album PCD and marks their first major concert tour together in nearly two decades.

The song “Buttons” launches the final act of the show after each woman performs a solo set. During the Warsaw show, Nicole missed her cue and Kimberly and Ashley performed the beginning of the song without her.

Instead of filling in for Nicole and singing her lines, Ashley and Kimberly continued performing their backup vocals and dance moves, with silence during the verses.

Nicole eventually joined in later in the performance.

So, what happened?

Pussycat Dolls explains why Nicole Scherzinger missed “Buttons” performance

“During a wardrobe change, there was an issue with Nicole’s in-ear pack, which meant an unexpected mid-show change was necessary,” the rep told Us Weekly.

“Rather than the Dolls stopping the entire show and disappointing the fans, the decision was made to fully switch Nicole’s pack, and unfortunately, the change delayed her from joining the other Dolls in time,” the rep added. “Nicole is devastated that the fans were let down in any way, and looks forward to coming back to Poland very soon to make it up to them.”
