Hunter King is giving more details about her Italian destination wedding and sharing some new photos from the intimate event.
The 32-year-old Emmy-winning actress, best known for The Young and the Restless and her beloved Hallmark Channel rom-com movies, tied the knot with director Chris Copier last month in Tuscany, Italy.
Hunter revealed in a new interview with People that her experience working on Hallmark’s Two Scoops of Italy led to the decision to get married in Italy.
Hunter worked on Two Scoops of Italy back in 2024.
She told People, “I worked in Italy a few years ago on a Hallmark movie, and we completely fell in love with the country. One weekend, we took the train to Florence and then a taxi out to a winery in Tuscany. I remember looking at the rolling hills and thinking, ‘We should get married here one day.'”
“It felt like something out of a dream. So a few years later, we made that dream happen,” she added.
Hunter wore a Sarah Seven dress, Betsey Johnson shoes, and Brilliant Earth jewels for the wedding. She said of her look, “I wanted to feel elegant while still feeling like myself. And the moment I put the dress on, I knew it was the one. It truly felt like my dream dress.”
“Walking back down the aisle hand-in-hand with my husband while all of our family and friends were cheering around us is a feeling I’ll never forget,” she said in the interview. “I’ve never felt happier.”
Hunter and Chris put plenty of focus into the food at the wedding, including wine made by their venue, La Torre sulla Via Francigena.
“We served family style Italian food, which felt perfect for the atmosphere we wanted to create,” Hunter told People. “The night before, we had a pizza party where the chef made what felt like every pizza imaginable, and every single one was incredible.”
She added, “On the wedding day, we had grazing boards, crostinis, handmade pastas, Florentine steak, a cannoli bar…it just kept coming. It honestly might have been my favorite meal I’ve ever had.”
