Shakira’s concert in Madrid on October 3 was the most-viewed livestream performance by a female artist on Amazon Music in history.
Shakira’s highly anticipated concert in Madrid on October 3 set a new record for the most-watched livestream performance by a female artist on Amazon Music. The show was the final stop on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, at her Es Latina European Residency in Madrid.
The livestream included a career-spanning setlist covering Shakira’s decades of hits, along with a surprise appearance from Dua Lipa, who joined Shakira on stage for a special performance of “AntologÍa.”
“For me, it’s an honor and a privilege to sing this song, which means so much to me, with this woman who is so admired and loved around the world,” Shakira told the crowd as she introduced Dua Lipa. “Now I really need someone to pinch me! Who is this goddess?! Like, please!”
“I’m so touched to hear my song in Dua’s voice, in the same city where I wrote it years ago,” Shakira wrote on Instagram. “See how music brings us together? A girl from London and another from Barranquilla! Thanks, @dualipa! What a treat!”
“I felt that you, me, and the audience were one,” Dua Lipa told Shakira in Spanish on Instagram after the performance. “Very grateful to take home such a beautiful memory!”
October 3 marked Shakira’s eighth of 12 nights in Madrid at Macondo Park. The performance took place at what has affectionately been called Shakira Stadium, a temporary 150,000-square-meter venue within Madrid’s Iberdrola Music complex that was specifically designed for the event. The residency kicked off on September 18 and runs through October 11.
The “She Wolf” singer’s concert served as the centerpiece of The Women Shaping Latin Music, the 2026 edition of Amazon Music’s annual Music Connects Us campaign celebrating the artists, sounds, and cultural movements propelling Latin music. This year’s program honors the women who paved the way, celebrates those moving music forward today, and creates opportunities for those who come next, launching comprehensive initiatives in education and commerce.
