Jim Curtis is opening up about dating Jennifer Aniston.
The 50-year-old author and hypnotherapist made an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show.
During the conversation, he spoke out about his relationship with the 57-year-old Friends alum, her friend group, how they handle arguments, the example she sets for others, his issues dealing with mobility and transforming your life.

On girlfriend Jennifer Aniston’s “group of best friends that are like family”:
“I feel incredibly blessed to be part [of] and welcomed into that family…such a beautiful community and group of people. It really speaks to her — and them — that everybody is so grounded, so kind. And it’s not just to me. There’s a reason why that whole group and community is so beloved.”
On their romance:
“It’s going really well. My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving. I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving. She uses words like ‘my love.'”
On handling their arguments:
“We do a lot of meditation. We do a lot of talk…I think that at different stages in your relationship, that different tools are really beneficial. And so, you know, Jen and I have been together a year and a half…in a honeymoon phase, your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers.”
On Jennifer setting an example for others:
“We’re really a model for how we can all be in this world…she is a real example of stepping into possibility, as she came from….this kind of household name and retained herself.”
On struggling with mobility:
“I started walking with a limp, and we couldn’t figure out what it was. We got MRIs, and I eventually went all over the world just trying to find out what was causing this. Was it a tumor? Was it cancer? Was it multiple sclerosis?…At one point I couldn’t walk at all, and I started to say, ‘Okay, now that I have this new body, it’s created a new identity because I’m no longer that kind of kinesthetic masculine. And so what is the new identity? And so for a long time, the new identity was weak.”
On his new book, The Book of Possibility:
“Transformation is always possible. That’s what I believe. And you don’t have to be what I call 100% healed to be able to transform.”
