Carat named Sarah Stringer and Brian Meuleman to key global roles aimed at helping bridge gaps between strategic theory and commercial results.

Stringer was named global chief strategy and innovation officer. Her remit includes turning strategy into an immediate, actionable competitive advantage. Meuleman was named global chief planning and intelligence officer and will use evidence, behavioral science and proprietary intelligence to shape how media investments are designed and measured. They both will report to Chrissie Hanson, Carat’s global brand president.

Stringer, based in New York, previously served as global chief of innovation for dentsu’s media practice, and previously as head of US media partnerships. She has worked for clients including Universal Music, Disney, Marvel, Nintendo, adidas and Mattel.

Meuleman, formerly global head of strategy at Carat, has worked for Heineken and Kraft Heinz, among others. He is based in London.
