Fans won’t have to wait long to see Josh Heuston back on screen!
Following his shocking exit from Off Campus after season one, it has been announced that the 29-year-old actor will be starring in the upcoming movie adaptation of Lauren Asher‘s book Throttled, Deadline has announced.
The motorsport racing romance novel, which is the first in the Dirty Air series, “tells the story of an ambitious young woman who joins her brother on the racing circuit and falls into a forbidden, high-stakes romance with her brother’s ruthless teammate and fiercest racing rival.”
Josh will be playing up-and-comer driver Noah Slade, who has a forbidden romance with Maya Alatorre. The actress that will be playing Maya hasn’t been announced yet.
Nzingha Stewart will be directing Throttled, written by Melissa Osborne, which will be released through Amazon MGM Studios.
After season one of Off Campus debuted on Prime Video back in May, fans were shocked to learn that Josh will not be back as musician Justin Kohl for season two.
“Not next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,” creator Louisa Levy confirmed to TV Guide when asked Josh was coming back. “We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never.”
If you didn’t see, Josh is dating one of his Off Campus co-stars!
