Saturday Night Live‘s Kenan Thompson is remembering his former All That co-star Christy Knowings, who died at 46 Tuesday after being taken off life support following a devastating asthma attack.
“Man this one hit hard!!!,” Thompson wrote on Facebook today after learning that his castmate from the ’90s Nickelodeon series had passed. “Rest well Christy!!! Never could have imagined this day!! Sending so much love to her family!!”
Thompson’s tribute continues, “She was a real one and one of the funniest people out here!!! Gonna miss you buddy!!! Show christyknowings ★ some love y’all!!!”
Knowings’ death was announced on Facebook by a family member yesterday, and today TMZ broke the news that she’d been on life support since suffering the asthma attack last Friday.
Knowings joined All That in 1997, appearing for three seasons on the sketch show that also included cast members Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli, Nick Cannon, Amanda Bynes, Angelique Bates, Mark Saul and Josh Server.
