Sleafords Mods have announced that they will be headlining a new ‘Gig For Gaza’ at London’s Troxy, with Baxter Dury and more also on the line-up.
The one-off gig is set to take place on Saturday October 24, and sees Baxter Dury, Joe Armon-Jones and Sinead Ashiokai on the bill alongside the post-punk duo.
It comes as the latest Gig For Gaza to be announced, and sees all proceeds from the show donated to Gaza Forever UK and Medical Aid for Palestinians.
According to the new post from Sleaford Mods announcing the gig, more guests are set to be announced at a later date, and tickets go on sale this Friday (September 11) at 9am BST. Visit here for tickets.
“This show feels more important than ever as the slaughter in Palestine slips in and out of the news cycle,” the duo shared in their post. “As a band, we’ve been fundraising for victims of war for the past three years, and the need doesn’t go away just because the coverage has moved on.”
“The reality is it’s gotten worse,” they added. “Solidarity has to be more than a gesture, it has to be a useful contribution. This show is a chance for people to come together with every ticket helping to put money where it’s needed.”

The Gigs For Gaza have already seen performances from Paul Weller – who has curated multiple shows – as well as members of Madness, Primal Scream, The Specials, The Clash, Kneecap, Paloma Faith and more.
The first was held in November 2024, and the second was held in March 2025. The third took place at Century Club in London last July and featured performances from Weller, Bobby Gillespie and The Clash’s Paul Simonon.
Those three alone helped raise over £55,000 for UNICEF’s Gaza appeal. This went towards providing life-saving aid, including food, medical care and shelter for people in Gaza.
Earlier this year, another gig was held in support of those in Palestine, as Paul Weller organised for Madness‘ Suggs, Dexys‘ Kevin Rowland, Sex Pistols‘ Glen Matlock and Roxy Music‘s Andy McKay to come together to form a supergroup at a one-off London gig. That show was held at London’s Scala on May 17 and organised by Artists for Gaza as a way to again raise funds for the Health Workers 4 Palestine’s Gaza Medics Solidarity Fund.
As for Sleaford Mods, the band have regularly played their part to help support children affected by the conflict. In 2024, for example, they teamed up with Hot Chip for ‘Nom Nom Nom’ and ‘Cat Burglar’, with both of those songs benefiting War Child.
At the start of last year, the duo revealed that they had raised over £47,000 for the charity, and then went on to share the single ‘Megaton’ in aid of War Child too.
In September last year, they then revealed that they would be donating £1/€1 from every ticket sold to their 2026 tour to the charity, as part of an ongoing partnership.
Back in 2023, frontman Jason Williamson clarified his stance on the Israel-Hamas war after the band cut short a concert in Madrid.
“Some context is needed about Madrid. I’m horrified by the atrocities committed in Gaza and Israel and I’m horrified by the atrocities committed elsewhere in the world that are not in the current news cycle,” he wrote at the time.
“I’m angry about the manipulation of human grief and rage by politicians, the media, agitators, and social media platforms to stoke the fire of separation, dehumanisation, division and hate.
“In Madrid the show was repeatedly interrupted by someone in the audience shouting and throwing a flag/scarf on stage. I stopped the show to make comment, condemned civilian deaths and called for no more killing.”
